Welcome to the 2014/15 academic year for MUMS. Please find details on how to sign up here! We've got a great set of concerts coming up over the semester (see programme here). These include the Symphony Orchestra performing Mahler's Symphony No 4 and Haydn's Mass in Time of War in association with the University Chorus.
If you’re interested in being a part of one of the largest, most active and most ambitious student-run music societies in the country, you’ve come to the right place. Manchester University Music Society (MUMS) endeavors to provide its members with a huge range of concerts, socials, and opportunities to get involved with some of the finest student-produced music in the UK. Wherever your interest lies, MUMS has something to offer you. For details on our ensembles, please have a look through their individual pages. For details about joining MUMS, booking tickets to our concerts or for any other information, use the links above.

Signups for members
Members can sign up to MUMS during the following week at either the Freshers Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday or online within the Students Union website. You will need to signup even if you have been a member before. Membership cost is £15 for students and £25 for non-students. Once you've signed up online you will then be able to collect your MUMS membership card at a later date (to be announced later). Becoming a member of MUMS allows you to take part in the society ensembles and gives you access to free tickets for all concerts within the Martin Harris Centre.
