20th November - University of Manchester Baroque Orchestra Concert - playing extracts from King Arthur (Henry Purcell)
21st November - Brass Band and String Orchestra Concert - two completely different styles of music have been juxtaposed for this concert. Prepare to be amazed with the String Orchestra playing Prelude & Romance (Finzi) amonst others, and then blown away (quite literally) by the Brass Band playing Spitfire Prelude & Fugue (Walton arr. Howarth) and much more.
27th November - Vaganza, Theatre Re-imagined - rounding off November nicely with our Vaganza concert! We'll be showcasing student compositions in the two concerts on this date, as well as hearing the UK premiere of Charlotte Bray's 'That Crazed Smile' and hearing a selection of work from Sir Harrison Birtwhistle.
We hope to see you there!
